GENIE.ch in the spotlight at the 2nd “Grand Paris Circulaire”
The 2nd "Grand Paris Circulaire", which took place on October 4th and 5th at the Beffroi de Montrouge, was marked by the official launch of the collaborative platform GrandParisCirculaire.org. Dedicated to the circular economy, its purpose is to be a tool for raising awareness among the general public and connecting all the private and public entities of the Greater Paris area (Métropole du Grand Paris).
GrandParisCirculaire.org also incorporates the International network of circular economy Platforms of which GENIE.ch is one of the active components, like the other regional platforms in France and very soon in Quebec in Canada.
The presentation of the Network gave rise to a special focus on GENIE.ch, the professional network of industrial ecology in Geneva, with its 450 companies and 660 members.
The Métropole du Grand Paris platform presents issues close to those of the Canton of Geneva and powerful levers such as public action, public procurement, urban logistics, etc.
All these are positive points that help to enrich the International Network, and through it, to create synergies for all the partners involved on regional platforms such as GENIE.ch
