Eco-design: a new topic on Genie.ch and a workshop to set up together!
With over 450 companies and 670 members, Genie.ch has been Geneva's industrial ecology professional network since 2015. Highlighting flagship projects, news, sector pages, communities, workshops ... after successfully working on topics related to energy and waste, the Genie.ch platform is now looking at eco-design.
As an innovative initiative, eco-design allows companies to include environmental criteria right from the design phase of a product (goods or services) in order to reduce its impacts throughout its life cycle (from the extraction of raw materials until the end of service life).
Geneva is home to many skills and positive experiences in eco-design, green innovation and R & D in this area. In order to develop a community of interest and to stimulate the exchange of practices, a conference-workshop on eco-design will be on offer in the autumn.
To mark the occasion, we will be creating an "eco-design" page to highlight these exchanges.
